AUCTION ACTION PROPERTIES SELLING PRIOR TO AUCTION DATES What has been quite noticeable with properties offered for auction in the past couple of weeks is that they are selling prior to their scheduled dates. At the time of going to print only three of the properties offered actually made it to the auction date and sold under the hammer. There was also a handful passed in that are now back on the market for sale by private treaty. Results of properties that went to auction were as follows: MMJ Wollongong saw 10 Charles Road, Tarrawanna sold under the hammer for $460,000. There was a total of 43 groups through the open for inspections during the campaign and 30 people at the auction which attracted four registered bidders. The purchasers were a young local couple looking to live there.

MMJ’s other property at 8 Meares Avenue Mangerton also sold at auction for $560,000. This too saw four open for inspections with 55 people including “by appointments” go through the property. There was a crowd of close to 60 people on the day with six registered bidders. These purchasers were local people who intend making it home.
