The Mayor further commented that planning was also underway to expand the general aviation area on Ballina Airport and improve the passenger terminal to attract additional air services to the area. Given the limited supply of serviced industrial land in the area, and new high profile developments currently underway, Council expects a sound level of enquiry for the lots to be auctioned.
