Krishna: The Mythological Hero Saturday 5 May, 6.30pm KALAKUNJ, a communitybased performing arts group, has been engaged in Heritage Lottery Fund project KRISHNA: The Mythological Hero exploring Krishna as interpreted in Indian classical dance, music, literature and philosophy. KALAKUNJ aims to encourage and support people’s interest for traditional art forms from South Asia and enhance the scope of South Asian dance in the community in Reading and beyond. The evening will feature a film on the project and its activities undertaken over the past one year along with Indian classical dance performances by the students of KALAKUNJ.
