Hello! My name is --, and I am a 20-year-old Christian student at Texas State University. You came to our school last semester, and I was (and still am) involved with one of the organizations who booked you to come to Texas State, Campus Crusade for Christ. I feel a little silly Facebook messaging you this, but I just wanted to let you to know that the NMDP [National Marrow Donor Program] was also on campus the week you came to Texas State...and after hearing your testimony I signed up (because I felt convicted about it...and figured that if ever the opportunity arose for me to save someone's life, I could get over my rather chicken-ish tendencies). Well, about two months ago, I was contacted as a possible match for a 63 year old man with Leukemia. Long story short, he has two kinds of Leukemia, and I'm his match. The plan is for me to donate stem cells Thanksgiving week. (Thank you, 1 John 3:16-20) It's kind of funny, because I only went in hopes that someone I knew would accept Christ, but Christ ended up using your testimony to help initiate this process in my life...and I'm now going to donate to him. Basically, I just wanted to let you know that the Lord is using you in a tangible way...and to encourage you in that.
