Facts & Numbers Career Fair Attendance by Major The Sooner Showcase (Fall Career Fair) is one of the largest career fairs on campus and is mostly geared toward business students. The Fall 2016 Sooner Showcase hosted 151 employers and 1,832 students attended. The 2017 Spring Career Fair hosted 129 employers and 1,293 students attended. The chart below shows the attendance broken down by business major (not individual student). Many Michael F. Price College of Business students have multiple majors.

First Destination Data Each year Career Services collects first destination data for all Price College of Business undergraduate students. Data is collected utilizing several methods including, but not limited to, in-class surveys, email campaigns, individual department exit interviews/surveys and digital research. Data collection starts at the beginning of each academic year and concludes 6 months after May graduation. The chart below is broken down by degree program (major), not individual student. *701 students graduated from the Michael F. Price College of Business with at least one undergraduate degree in 2016-17. Career Services was able to gather first destination data on 633 of the 701 graduates. Total Grads

Activities Overview • Met with business students throughout each semester to help with job search, resume writing, interviewing skills, and other career-related issues • C onducted numerous mock interviews with business students to better prepare them for real interviews • Spoke to 64 classes with 3,919 students during the first week of each semester to educate students about Career Services and upcoming career fairs • Surveyed all capstone classes, gathering post-graduation information from 701 graduating seniors • C onsistently updated bulletin boards with information regarding career fairs, on-campus interviews, recruiting, career planning workshops, and career & internship opportunities • Conducted 15 Getting Started with Handshake presentations for 261 students as an option to obtain Price Passport Milestone Points • Conducted two Dining Etiquette & Strategies presentations for 20 students as an option to obtain Price Passport Milestone Points • Conduct two Preparing for Internships presentations for 20 students as an option to obtain Price Passport Milestone Points • Attended the Price Passport to Success Orientations at the beginning of both semesters • Presented to the MBA program about Career Services and our resources • Facilitated a Dining Etiquette luncheon for 35 MBA students • Attended the JCPenney Alumni Career Conference • Met with Price Academic Advising Services to discuss Career Services, Handshake, etc. • Attended monthly meetings with the Center for Student Success Administration • Provided on-campus interview opportunities for College of Business majors in the Career Services office • P osted jobs on Handshake (career management platform) and emailed students weekly about job openings as they were posted • Shared information about workshops, career fairs, full-time opportunities and internship opportunities with students via Handshake emails
