3 Reasons for Young Kids to Take Swimming Lessons 1. Safety... children learn how to be ‘water safe’. Drowning rates are declining due in large part to swimming lessons, and water safety awareness which is taught at all levels from parent and tot all the way through to the advanced Lifesaving courses

2. Enjoyment... being able to swim and enjoy the pool or beach enhances life. Each requires a certain level of water safety, especially where children are concerned.

3. Health... swimming is a Lifelong skill like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget and it is gentle on your body so you can swim even when it’s impossible to do other exercise due to physical restrictions

TESTIMONIAL My balance and my mobility were quite limited when I registered for the Balance and Mobility class. Upon meeting Myra Duff for a personal assessment, I felt very comfortable with her positive attitude and encouraging manner. Myra developed an exercise program specific to my needs and abilities then gave me one to one instruction with the exercises. As I progressed, she modified my exercises which challenged me both physically and mentally. I have increased my daily activities and my energy levels have improved substantially. I intend on continuing with this class and now feel confident in joining the Health and Recovery class.
