Join us for an exciting adventure as an iExplorer!

Are you ready for some exciting summer activities?

During the four day week students will:

Have you ever wondered how to utilize an iPod touch to explore and create exciting products?

Are you interested in finding out what it takes to create an eBook or access cool Apps to explore new ideas or solve a problem?

Create hands-on projects using mobile devices, educational Apps, and other software Go on a QR code scavenger hunt and become an iExplorer Participate in field trip to IT-oLogy to explore possible careers in technology

Important Information for Parents The summer sessions will be held Monday through Thursday (July 16-19) from 9:00-3:00 each day and will be held at the Olympia School Campus, 621 Bluff Road. Parents are responsible for transportation. Student must arrive each day between 8:50 and 9:00 and be picked up promptly at 3:00 pm. A check for $25, made payable to Richland County School District One, must be submitted with the registration form. A light lunch will be provided by Richland One’s Central Kitchen. Only current Richland One students who are completing grades 6, 7, 8 in May 2012 are eligible to apply.

Students will have a chance to actually create QR codes and use Apple’s iBooks Author software to produce an eBook that will reveal a solution to a real world problem.

Your registration signifies a commitment to attend all four days of the summer session. Projects and activities build on one another. It is important to attend daily. ** Please note that our certified, Technology Education Specialists will be conducting the camp and will be present at all times.
