CORINNE & GIANPAOLO A beautiful Outer Banks wedding
Corinne and Gianpaolo – known to their friends and family as Corey and Gianni – were married in a beautiful ceremony at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head in the Outer Banks on a lovely, late spring day. The ceremony on the beach had a breathtaking view of the waves crashing over the sand and the sun glistening on the water. They said their ‘I Do’s under a driftwood altar decorated with brightly colored blooms and lush greenery. Corey wore a simple yet stunning white gown with a sleeveless bodice and a long train. She carried a large bouquet of blooms in shades of pink with greenery jutting out on all sides. She wore her hair in a low chignon and kept her accessories simple. Her bridesmaids wore champagne gowns with cap sleeves and a slight train. They carried smaller bouquets of blush and cream flowers. Guests moved inside the Oceanview Hall for the reception. The tables were dressed with white satin linens and coral satin napkins. The centerpieces featured blooms in shades of pink, orange, and yellow, and they were nested on a bed of greenery. After a meal of southern favorites, guests were treated to a dessert bar that included cupcakes, chocolates, and – of course – wedding cake. The cake featured a nude design with barely there frosting. Pink roses and a bit of greenery topped the cake. At the end of the night, Corey and Gianni left amid rows of guests holding up glow sticks. The ambient lights provided a colorful leave against the night sky. It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful day, and guests cheered Corey and Gianni as they left to start the next chapter in their new lives together.
