V: We understand there’s a new activity park being built on the resort grounds. What will it include? SB: The new Adventure Park will be available for a nominal charge to all resort guests. It will include a 200-foot zip-line ride, a real climbing wall, a four-seat bungee experience, an inflated rope slide and a fierce waterballoon battle station. The park will be available before July 2016 and promises to be another place for memories for children and adults right on-site at Calypso Cay. V: And there are plans for more new construction, right? SB: The plan is to add an additional welcome center and sales center, more centrally located on the resort property, to help serve all the villa guests better. The building is in the design phase, and it will include extra villas as well.
SB: Our primary goal this year, with the incredible help from RCI, is to further educate our members about their resort and how they can use their ownership to get the most out of being a member of Calypso Cay Vacation Villas. We want our members to travel more and incur lower fees. The new website features provided by our relationship with RCI provide members with the ability to shop vacation travel deals and use their credits or points to the fullest capacity. We have effectively lowered reservation and exchange fees for members in order to get them to travel and enjoy their membership.
Sales and marketing for Calypso Cay Vacation Villas commenced in early 2001 under the management of developer Timescape Resorts, LLC. The company has exceeded $200 million in interval sales since its inception.
