I Will Breathe Over You Again - By Pastor Samuel OBAFAIYE

I

N Geography, there is what is called renewable and non-renewable resources. Renewable resources are natural resources that can be replenished in a short period of time. E.g. solar, wind, water, geothermal, biomass. Non-renewable resources however are natural resources that cannot be re-made or re-grown at a scale comparable to its consumption. You are here, and you have consumed much of your resource more than what could be replenished, God asked me to tell you that He will breathe over you afresh. What is that resource that you have expended? Is it Time? Energy? Money? Intellect? Relationship? Courtship? Marriage? May God breathe upon you again. The blind man healed by Jesus in Mark 8:23-25. First seeing men as trees walking, Jesus had to touch him again. May Jesus touch you again right now. Wind is a special renewable resource, no one can see it but it’s always there and very powerful. John 3:7-8 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again. ’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Wind is unstoppable and cannot be tamed. May your progress be unstoppable. May power of evil and darkness not be able to tame you. Samson was tamed to a point in his life and later became more dangerous. May you be forever dangerous to powers of darkness. May your lion not start barking as a dog in Jesus name. Ecclesiastes 1:6: The wind blows to the south and goes around to the north; around and around goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns. Wind travels in an unending cycles. May your life not suddenly come to an end. You will end well in God. May people that are waiting for your disgraceful end be totally disgraced themselves.

Season of Renewal

THE RCCG (EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY) 2013 PROPHECY. THEME: OUR YEAR OF GOD’S REST Isaiah 65: 21-24, Isaiah 14:1-4

EASON can be defined as a suitable, natural or convenient time for something to happen. While renewal can be defined as the action of extending the period of validity of a license, subscription, or contract. It could also be to make like new; restore to freshness; vigour or perfection; or to begin again. The bible tells us that God will renew this world. That the world will be wiped off by God with fervent heat and a new Earth and a new Heaven will be made by God to replace the old one (Rev. 2:1-5). God enacted a covenant of blessing and fruitfulness with Abraham which was sealed by circumcision in Gen. 17:1-14. There was however a period of intermission when the Israelites were in bondage in Egypt and when they journeyed in the wilderness. God had to renew that covenant with them when they entered into the Promised Land, so that the blessings can continue (Joshua 5:2-8). God said in Isaiah 40:31 that, “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint”. I heard God say that as we continue to wait on Him, He will renew our ‘strength’. That strength would be in areas of spiritual, financial, numerical, material, synergy, etc. Therefore, in this month of September and beyond, God will take us through a season of renewal: He will reconfigure us anew and restore freshness and vigour into us the more in Jesus name. Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

Eccl.11:5:- As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the baby is formed in the mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Wind is unpredictable and hard to understand. May the world not be able to catch you out. Jesus always slipped from the people's hands. May no one be able to pin you down in Jesus name. There is a wind that is even more powerful. It is called the "breath of God". May God's breath come upon you again. Genesis 2:7: Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Without this breath, man is back to dust. Our state as a living being is a product of how long of this breath is accorded to us. The good news is that this breath can be extended at God's will. The story of Hezekiah came to mind. His breath was to be withdrawn at 39 years. But God later extended it to 54years (2 Kings 18:2; 20:6). There is someone here; God says I should tell you that He has just extended your breath. The enemy has planted something in the near future to shorten your breath. I have removed the obstacle and I have further extended your breath, God says. To another person, He said the breath of your loved one has just been extended. The person is gravely sick. God has just given an extension to their breath. When Jesus was on earth, He was the breath and strength of His disciples. They were always hiding behind Him. So that when He was leaving, as an interim before the baptism of the Holy Ghost, Jesus transferred power on them through His breath. John 20:21-23:- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

WAS meditating recently to find out from God what will be our theme for 2013. There were certain challenges I saw in 2012 that I was asking God to completely eradicate in the next. God answered and said, "All covenanted ministries (whether individual or church) will hit major storm in their 3rd year. If the ministry escapes that by grace, a greater storm will come against it in its 6th year. If the ministry equally escapes the double storm, it will then qualify for the blessings of the 7th year”.

RCCG 20132013 PROPHECY THEWORLDWIDE RCCG (WORLDWIDE) PROPHECY

Year of Signs & Wonders FOR INDIVIDUALS: 1. No matter the darkness around you, your star will shine brighter. 2. God says, He will speak peace to your storms 3. Certain individuals have been stagnated for sometimes, the reasons for your stagnation will become known, will be addressed and will be eliminated, therefore progress will follow. 4. In many senses of the word, this year will be of completeness. FOR NIGERIA: 1. The prayers of some of you minimized death of prominent Nigerians last year, don’t stop praying. 2. Before the middle of the year, many will say hope rising. 3. Learn from disasters of 2012 and take precaution soonest to avert bigger ones.. INTERNATIONAL: 1. The Lord says prominent world leaders need a lot prayers so as not to die in office. 2. Prominent Church leaders need prayers against planned scandals. 3. Weather conditions may get worse, much worst, unless prayers are intensified. 4. We should expect a major breakthrough in medicine this year. 5. Nations who pass unholy laws will have a taste of divine fury. By Pastor Enoch Adeboye (Gen. Overseer RCCG Worldwide)

For us in Everlasting Father's Assembly, there were storms that we went through at three years. To the glory of God, we escape them all. Also at six years, thank God for all the astounding accomplishments that we have enjoyed, we also escaped double storms. Glory be to God! So I asked God, since we have escaped the sixth year, what is the blessing of the seventh year? He took me back to the creation of the world. He said, ‘What did the bible says I did on the seventh day’? And I said that You rested from Your labours. So, God said "2013 is your year of My rest". Note that it is the God's rest, not our kind of rest. The bible says that God does not sleep nor slumber (Ps. 121:4). So it's not a rest of sleep. Neither is it of folding of hands. It is a rest from excessive labours and entering into excessive favours. The seventh day was a time when God stopped creating on this earth, but switched to watching over what He has created. In 2013, God will help us to look after what He has created for us and through us. We will supervise and oversee machinery that will run itself. Every system that God has helped us to create will begin to work for us. Grace will supersede haste. There was a time when the Israelites were fighting Canaan, the Israelites were outnumbered. So God began to use constellations to fight for them (Judges 5:20). God will assign hosts of heaven to work for us in 2013 By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

CONGREGATIONAL HYMN

THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS There shall be showers of blessing: This is the promise of love; There shall be seasons refreshing, Sent from the Saviour above. Showers of blessing, Showers of blessing we need: Mercy drops round us are falling, But for the showers we plead. There shall be showers of blessing, Precious reviving again; Over the hills and the valleys, Sound of abundance of rain. There shall be showers of blessing; Send them upon us, O Lord; Grant to us now a refreshing, Come, and now honour Thy Word. There shall be showers of blessing: Oh, that today they might fall, Now as to God we’re confessing, Now as on Jesus we call!

Think On These Things ...

W

By Dr Abayomi SANUSI

ELCOME to September 2013, the season of renewal. I thank God for the opportunity to share these words, which will hopefully challenge me to follow God more closely.

Background God has deliberately created us to be dynamic beings. In fact He gave us free will, and told us to be productive(Genesis 1.27-28). I am persuaded that we humans were not created to be stagnant, idle or bored. We are all endowed with various abilities, gifts and talents we may not even know existed. It is our duty to discover them, and put them to the best use we can. Dynamism, productivity and increase require the condition of toil. But we must toil intelligently, correctly and with guidance from God himself. What would Jesus have you do? A few years ago a young woman from New Orleans became depressed after her friend died. That loss brought things into perspective for her, and helped her think about her own life. She ended up carrying out a social experiment, putting an outside wall of an abandoned house to good use. She provided writing materials and invited people to complete the sentence ‘Before I die I want to........”. That project became so successful it has been repeated at least 300 hundred times in no fewer than 50 different countries around the world. Think about that question yourself. What if the question was changed to ‘before I die I want to...., and be remembered by by it when I’m gone”. How different would your response be? Now think about how the Lord Jesus would have answered that question! He in fact answered it with everything he did, and is remembered for it!! Now answer this question: Before you die what would Jesus have you do, even if you’ll never be remembered by it? Whatsoever......think on these things! Regardless of where you are now and what you have achieved in the past, we have an obligation to press ahead and improve ourselves in every aspect of our beings. Including spiritually. In the first chapter of Colossians, the deeper meaning and urgency to incessant prayers and the knowledge of God in Christian life is highlighted. Colossians 1.910 (Colloquially speaking: We pray you will know God’s mind, and thus please Him, leading to you knowing Him even more). In other words, at a higher level of understanding we have to come to a realisation that it is all about God! Our ambitions would be laughable and our strivings futile were they not in line with His desires for us. Some of the responses to the ‘Before I die I want to........” questions were petty, silly and in cases sad! God knows us best, knows the talents He has deposited in us. He would stop at nothing to to see us achieve the fulfilment of our potential. But He will not routinely force us against our will. Our will needs to mature to become aligned with His. Phillipians 4.6-8. (think on these things) In the parable of the talents (Matthew 25.14-15 ), the master gave talents to every man according to his several ability. Every servant had some ability, and received a measure of talent. It was left to them to obey God’s unction on their lives and be productive. We can seek to be productive individually as well as collectively (1 Cor 3.6-9) Exhortation Do you know your talents and abilities? Are you doing something to find out what they are? Are you using any of your abilities for the benefit of others and to further the Kingdom of God? What is the motivation behind what you do? What is the motivation behind what you do not do? What would you like to do before Jesus comes back? Before you die what would Jesus have you do, even if you’ll never be thanked or recognised for it ? Colosians 1.9-10 Phillipians 4.6-8.
