Declaring His Power - By Pastor Samuel ODAUDU HEN your time to be favoured has come, it doesn't matter your location. What had worked against you before will suddenly begin to work for you. Your season of favour has come this morning. In Ezekiel 1:1, we have an interesting scripture regarding Ezekiel. We are in the thirteenth year of this millennium, this is the fourth month, and starting from Friday when we had the vigil, the river of the miracle has already started flowing. Chebar means greatness. Elisha was in the valley of greatness and heaven was opened for him, then he began to see God. I pray that your heaven will open this morning. If heavens are closed to a person, it means that there is no rain. If rain do not fall, the ground in which the person tills will be very hard and all their efforts will be futile. That was why God told the Israelites to pray to Him whenever that happens (II Chro. 7:13-14). If heavens are shut over someone's womb, they will remain barren. When the heavens are opened however, automatically a little effort brings tremendous results. I decree from this altar this afternoon, someone who has been toiling and trusting God for the fruit of the womb and till now they are still believing, this is your season. I declare your womb opened in Jesus name. When a land closes against someone, the fellow is in a big trouble. United Kingdom is a land, it doesn't matter how you came here. This land belongs to God and the fulness thereof. It is possible you have been labouring fruitlessly like Ezekiel. He was standing by River Chebar - greatness but he was not great. This was because he was an exile in captivity. There is nothing good with been a captive. It was only when the heavens opened that the beginning of the greatness of Ezekiel started. I decree over your life today, may your heavens open in Jesus name. May this land open up for you in Jesus name. The very moment you begin to see God like Ezekiel, everything will begin to work for you (2 Cor. 3:18; Isaiah 6:1). You can not see God and remain the same. May you see God in your lifetime. Jabez was born to be great and honourable. His mother however named him sorrow at birth. Within him, he knew he was carrying huge destiny, but outwardly he was nothing. Until one day came and he cried to the Lord (2 Chro. 4:10). Your season of change has come today. In Gen 14:4 certain Canaan kings served Chedalahomer for 12 years and in the 13 years they rebelled against him. Every demonic agent and power that had subjected you under servitude, their tenure is over in your life in Jesus name. You have serve them enough. It is your time to arise and become what God wants you to be. Some of you are supposed to be employers of labour. Every negative situation you are going through has an expiration date. If you are not aware, the devil will take the advantage of your ignorance to prolong that date. Whatever the enemy is still doing against you is illegal. God has sent me here therefore to declare your freedom. Every 'Chadolahomer' in your life are judged from today in Jesus name. You can't joke with this year. It's an ordained year by God to fast track you into your destiny. It doesn't matter what has happened before, you must make the advantage of this season. Enough is enough. God can never ignore the prayers of enlargement. I pray that you will not only see the power of God, but also become the carrier of God's power. In Gen 21:1-21, there is this account of how Abraham had to send Hagar away and her son almost died. What bother my heart is that God who knows the end from the begining, why did He keep Ishmael alive then only to be a problem to the world today? The truth is that God was not looking at Ishmael with the wickedness ahead but with prividge of coming from Abraham's loins. Hagar and the lad were crying. God only heard the voice of the lad because he was a seed of Abraham who has a strong covenant with God.

APRIL 2013 THEME: DECLARING HIS POWER

EHOVAH is the Creator of the Heaven and the Earth and all that is in them. He made all things for His pleasure and He does as He pleases. It is not possible to challenge God or question His wisdom. He is simply sovereign (Job 9:12; Dan 4:35; Eccl. 8:4). God gave all His creatures a special characteristic: the power of self-will. This made it possible that spirits and humans try to do whatever they like excluding God from the picture. However, whenever God could not stand the flagrant disrespect of His person and the wickedness of man's heart, He always appears in the picture to declare His power. The bible tells us of the ordeal of the children of Israel in the land of Egypt when the Pharaoh that loved Joseph had died, the Israelites became slaves and were subjected to terrible treatments by their taskmasters (Ex. 3:7-10). The situation became worse till God could not allowed it any longer and as such vowed to declare His power (Ex. 3:19-20). God began series of punishments in the form of plaques on the Egyptians and later ended with the death of the firstborn of both man and animals in Egypt after which the Israelites regained their freedom by force (Ex. 12:31-33). In this month of April, following the Feast of Passover, the Almighty God will declare His power and might on our behalf. God will disallow every negative situation we are going through. God will orchestrate series of punishments upon our enemies. He will seize the firstlings of all our enemies. He will also enforce our freedom with His outstretch arm in Jesus name. THE RCCG (EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY) 2013 PROPHECY. THEME: OUR YEAR OF GOD’S REST Isaiah 65: 21-24, Isaiah 14:1-4

I

WAS meditating recently to find out from God what will be our theme for 2013. There were certain challenges I saw in 2012 that I was asking God to completely eradicate in the next. God answered and said, "All covenanted ministries (whether individual or church) will hit major storm in their 3rd year. If the ministry escapes that by grace, a greater storm will come against it in its 6th year. If the ministry equally escapes the double storm, it will then qualify for the blessings of the 7th year”. For us in Everlasting Father's Assembly, there were storms that we went through at three years. To the glory of God, we escape them all. Also at six years, thank God for all the astounding accomplishments that we have enjoyed, we also escaped double storms. Glory be to God! So I asked God, since we have escaped the sixth year, what is the blessing of the seventh year? He took me back to the creation of the world. He said, ‘What did the bible says I did on the seventh day’? And I said that You rested from Your labours. So, God said "2013 is your year of My rest". Note that it is the God's rest, not our kind of rest. The bible says that God does not sleep nor slumber (Ps. 121:4). So it's not a rest of sleep. Neither is it of folding of hands. It is a rest from excessive labours and entering into excessive favours. The seventh day was a time when God stopped creating on this earth, but switched to watching over what He has created. In 2013, God will help us to look after what He has created for us and through us. We will supervise and oversee machinery that will run itself. Every system that God has helped us to create will begin to work for us. Grace will supersede haste. There was a time when the Israelites were fighting Canaan, the Israelites were outnumbered. So God began to use constellations to fight for them (Judges 5:20). God will assign hosts of heaven to work for us in 2013 . By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

THE RCCG (WORLDWIDE) 2013 PROPHECY THEME: YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS FOR INDIVIDUALS: 1. No matter the darkness around you, your star will shine brighter. 2. God says, He will speak peace to your storms 3. Certain individuals have been stagnated for sometimes, the reasons for your stagnation will become known, will be addressed and will be eliminated, therefore progress will follow. 4. In many senses of the word, this year will be of completeness. FOR NIGERIA: 1. The prayers of some of you minimized death of prominent Nigerians last year, don’t stop praying. 2. Before the middle of the year, many will say hope rising. 3. Learn from disasters of 2012 and take precaution soonest to avert bigger ones.. INTERNATIONAL: 1. The Lord says prominent world leaders need a lot prayers so as not to die in office. 2. Prominent Church leaders need prayers against planned scandals. 3. Weather conditions may get worse, much worst, unless prayers are intensified. 4. We should expect a major breakthrough in medicine this year. 5. Nations who pass unholy laws will have a taste of divine fury. By Pastor Enoch Adeboye (Gen. Overseer RCCG Worldwide)

Do You Know Whose Child You Are?

I

- By Doctor Abayomi SANUSI

THANK God for the opportunity to share with you these words, mere reminders of the scriptural precepts you are already familiar with. Who is He to the world? God, the father, maker of heaven and earth is described in various philosophical ways that reflect how people of our current society perceive, or fail to perceive Him. To some He is a terrifying, fearsome and unapproachable phenomenon. To others He is just a figment of imagination, and cunning construct to fill a void in human understanding and experience. Others claim He is exactly that void: an unexplainable emptiness and a vague existence. A vast number have resolved to simply ignore God altogether! Who is He to the Christian? Christians however have a different experience and response to the question of who their God is. Responses to describe Him range from father, saviour, deliverer, lover, sanctifier, healer and friend. And many more. These are indeed biblical as are the description of God as the Christian’s ‘alpha and omega’ (Rev 22.13), and everything they could ever wished Him to be. (Rev 21.2-4). God is all these and even more to the Christian, such that the emotional and spiritual interaction they share manifests powerfully in every aspect of the Christian's physical life. (John 3.6,15) (Eph 5.2526) (Mat 5.16) Why it matters? The bible tells us we are His children (Mat 5.45). God’s mission, influence and interactions with us makes it such that individuals and societies can only either act on God’s behalf, or fight against Him. As there is the clear battle-line between good and evil, you personally can either be on God’s side or fight against Him. (Gal 5.16-18) (James 4.4). As children come to naturally resemble their parents through active emulation and the inevitable process of growing in physical stature, Christians ought to become more like Jesus. As obedient children pleasantly drawn to their parent, God out father draws us closer, and shapes every aspect of us to the plan He intended for each Christian. We often overlook the fact that although quiet and potent, this task of Christian transformation is backed by the highest and most potent power available or imaginable. Salvation and Peace is achieved after believing in God and giving one’s life to Him. Continuous fellowship with Him follows. The natural result is a peaceful and victorious life. The Christian then continues to desire for God and do His will. The assurance of a victorious and rewarding afterlife keeps this salvation joyful, and our sojourn on earth worthwhile. Phil 4.7, John 8.42, Rev 22.13-14 So, do you really know? It is important to know who your father is. This knowledge is important not only for the acknowledgement of identity and a sense of purpose, but also for the verification of where a person is currently positioned in the overall context of the purpose of their life. As a young teenager the meticulous and almost obsessively detailed record of the physical genealogy of Christ Jesus in Matthew 1 v 1-3 used to perplex me. However the historical significance is of important relevance (v 17-18) and has spiritual implications. Your personal spiritual landmarks are of equally important significance! It is vital in the journey of becoming even more like Jesus. Consider your current relationship with God with that of Jesus when he declared publicly that He knew the Father hears Him (John 11.41). And the realisation by the lost son who remembered his father’s kindness and wealth (Luke 15.17,18,21). I pray you will dedicate your life to Him and begin to enjoy God’s Salvation and Peace anew, and with that Most Potent of Powers prepare for that peaceful and victorious afterlife, by becoming more like your father. So do you know whose child you really are? If so, are you enjoying the benefits of being their child?
