Indonesia currently the third largest producer of rice in the world. Rice is included on the main diet in Indonesia. Almost every part of Indonesia will include rice with various side dish.

Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru short for TNBTS has kept it’s beauty for many years. The highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru stand strong behind Mt Bromo. It’s epic sunrise with a it’s fresh mist attracted traveller from all over the world. Leaving them with a peaceful and relaxing morning.

A small village nearby the Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru. Many of the villager rely on the tourism and farming for their monthly income. They were friendly and down to earth group of people.

After a couple of minutes drive from Segara Wedi or known for the Sea of Sands (Lautan Pasir), Bromo. Do not forget to look back and look how the beauty transform from the Sea of Sands to hills full of green. Nature will set tranquility by it self.

Horse riding become one of the villager main income. Strong and lean horses attract tourist, whether it’s for a short or long stroll along the Segara Wedi.

3 Musketeers


Ranu Kumbolo is one of camp point for hiker, who is on their journey to the peak of Mt. Sumeru. It is located at 2.390 above sea level. Ranu mean “Lake” and Kumbolo mean “to gather”, it is a trully a nice lake to gather around your friends.

The peak of Mt. Semeru beautifully shape like a big sand dunes with an abstract line coming down from the top.

Arcopodo is located a couple hour away from the peak of Mt. Semeru. It’s sany dunes made every step heavier than the step before.

The highest peak in Java Island. Known for it’s beauty and mystery. The peak it self gathers hikers from all over Indonesia and the worlds. It is recommencded to not wander around at the peak for to long as the Jonggring Saloko crater still active.

After Ranu Kumbolo there is one hill that has a myth. Where if you finish walking up the hill while thinking about your love one and did not look back, your love will be everlasting. It is hard to resist to not look back, where Ranu Kumbolo look beautiful from this side of the hill.
