LOOP 101

This vibrant, regional destination is becoming a major employment corridor for such national corporations as Ring, Bechtel, Humana, Terminix and others who employ nearly 20,000 people within the greater district.

COMMUNITY ROOTS Glendale is one of the Valley’s fastest growing communities. Looking into the City’s history, one can’t help but notice the diversity of its people and the areas that make up Glendale’s footprint. At its center, historic 100-year-old buildings, to the north an education hub with high income households, to the southwest a vibrant entertainment district and farther west, acres of opportunity ready to be developed along the Loop 303. This area is the budding city center of the West Valley, already the en-

tertainment hub for nearly 2 million residents in the West Valley. Regional population growth is quickly shifting west, which positions the district to be at the center of it all. We provide an unparalleled quality of life for residents and unmatched experiences for our visitors. Growth has been exponential, but it doesn’t happen by chance. It is the result of years of relationship building coupled with a vision provided by Glendale’s City Council and City Manager and superb colleagues here at the City. Looking into the future, in

the spring of 2020 we look forward to bringing Camelback Ranch guests directly to the Sports & Entertainment District with the completion of Ballpark Boulevard that will connect Camelback Ranch with Westgate at Maryland Avenue. This project, once completed, will create a better fan experience and bring added economic impact along with additional development opportunities. The state’s jobs and economic forecasts are among the best in the nation, and we look forward to continuing to grow Glendale. GLENDALE LIVING
