The seeds of BAPS North America were first sown with the founding of a single Mandir in Flushing, NY in 1974. In 2010, BAPS inaugurated its 63rd Mandir. The catalyst for growth has always been and will always be the family. Mandirs first take shape in the basements and living rooms of the faithful. The devotion, energy and commitment found here fuels the construction of Mandirs and the organization of activities aiming to serve individuals spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
