In conjunction with your switchboard training, you will be taught how to develop a telephone technique that is both confident and professional. Touch-typing / Keyboarding A comprehensive touch-typing training program will be planned for you – whether you are a total beginner or can already type and just needs to develop speed and accuracy. You will also be taught document layout including display formats, envelopes and business letters. Proofreading skills and punctuation will also be taught.

Dictaphone You will gain ‘hands on’ experience in producing correspondence with the use of dictaphone/audio transcript equipment. Confidence in using this popular office equipment is important for those wishing to work as a Personal Assistant.

Advanced Computer Training These practical computer workshops will build on the skills and knowledge acquired in the earlier part of the course (see Certificate II in Business Administration syllabus for details).
