Important Links Our total expenditure crossed Rs. 8 lakhs and we got immediate plan to serve Rs.2 lakh more within next 3 months.

1. Educating India Centre Program – unleashing the potential …

More than 25% of our population are not getting even a single meal a day even though our nation stands second for producing food in the world – Report by United Nation. We want to erase this statistics with Education thru’ our Educating India Centre Program. We rented houses and employee paid govt. school staffs to take classes from 6th to 10th students .Timings 6:00 P.M to 8:30 P.M during weekdays and ½ a day during weekends. We develop extra – curricular activities besides studies.

1.1 Educating India Centre 1 - Vellore Staff Details Started in Aug 15th 2006, EICentre Vellore is running successfully with 4 Paid Staffs. Mrs. S. Mahalakshmi Ms. R. Sharmila Mrs. S. Eshwari Mr. M. Sudhakar Average man hours Per Week 6 Days * 2.5 hrs * 4 staff = 60 hrs As on April end 2009 approx 8400 Man Hours has been spend in Teaching 6th to 10th students Contact No : +919840965562

1.2 Educating India Centre 1 - Vellore Students Details No of Students 2006 – 2007 : 35 No of Students 2007 – 2008 : 43 No of Students 2008 – 2009 : 60 10th students for 2007, 2008 & 2009 exams are 5, 4 & 8 res. Highest 10th mark is 347. We got a Dedicated Computer in this Centre to coach them basic applications like paint, word, excel Besides that we use that computer to record all their marks in our test for tracking. Every Saturday, We conduct extra curricular activities for them.

Started in Aug 15th 2006, EICentre Vellore is running successfully with 1 Paid Staff. Mrs. Rani. Average man hours Per Week 5 Days * 2.5 hrs * 1 staff = 12.5 hrs As on April end 2009 approx 1750 Man Hours has been spend in Teaching 6th to 10th students

1.4 Educating India Centre 2 -Villupuram Students Details

No of Students 2006 – 2007 : 40 No of Students 2007 – 2008 : 40 No of Students 2008 – 2009 : 30 10th students for 2007, 2008 & 2009 exams are 12, 5 & 8 res. Highest 10th mark is 352. We are planning to buy a Dedicated Computer for this Centre too to coach them basic applications like paint, word, excel Once in 2 weeks, We conduct extra curricular activities for them.

1.6 Educating India Centre 3 - Chennai Students Details

No of Students 2008 – 2009 : 33 10th students for 2009 exams are 3. We are planning to buy a Dedicated Computer for this Centre too to coach them basic applications like paint, word, excel We are trying our level best to maintain/increase students strength as we were in the early stage for this Centre.

2. Scholarship Program – nurturing studies …

We give scholarship for those who really deserves. We gave around Rs.33,100 scholarship for Avvai Home students – 2006 educational year.

We tie up with HoneyWell to give scholarship worth Rs.50,000 every educational year for 2007, 2008 & 2009. Besides this we give scholarship to many other deserving students every educational year. for more info, please check the below link.

3. Identifying Identity Program – identity is destiny …

We conduct special classes to identify each and every students identity for both EICentre Students and Non – EICentre students. We conduct games, drawing competition, Educational Trip, singing, dancing, drama competition, etcs., in order to find and nurture their identity. We employ dedicated computer to show good documentaries / videos / photos / books / etcs., to improve interest in their identity. We are planning to buy a LCD Projector to convey it to a large audience of students.

4. Gramma Villa Program – (Village Development ) – back to backbone of India…

We are working with Mr. Ranjith had plenty of experience in developing villages for around 15 years as village Officer & UNICEF member. In order to provide employment & improving infra structures for deserving villages we pledge to start this program by June 2009 with initial budget of Rs. 1 lakh. We got 1 acre land from our well wisher for agriculture to develop jobs in villages. Besides that we are planning to invest in small self help groups in villages.
