Dear Mr. and Mrs. Allen, On December 3, we’re joining a national day of generosity, #GivingTuesday. It’s a day when you can make a difference in the lives of the kids at Ralph Wilson Youth Club. At Ralph Wilson Youth Club, we believe that changing the future starts with positively impacting the life of a child, and we want to use #GivingTuesday to raise funds that will, without a doubt, make a positive impact in the life of a child here at the club. With your help, we hope to raise the funds needed to purchase:
24 new member Chromebooks and 2 Chromebook Carts to use for STEM, Book Clubs, our RWYC TV News Broadcast, Technology Courses, Lead4Change, and Homework Completion. Reading and Math Intervention Curriculum that will keep our K-5th grade members from being impacted by the summer educational setback. Summer 2020 Field Trip Sponsorships to ensure that every member has the opportunity to be a part of the educational life experiences that our summer field trips offer.
How can you be a part of it? Here are a few simple ideas:
Consider making a gift on #GivingTuesday at http://bit.ly/2Obf51U o $100 will fund 4-5 summer field trips for an individual member. o $150 will fund one member Chromebook. o $300 will sponsor one full field trip for 20+ members. o $350 will fund one Chromebook Cart. o $1500 will fund the complete K-5 Summer Reading and Math Curriculum. Join us at the club to see all of the awesome activities that we offer our local kids! Help us get the word out on social media by sharing our posts and using @rwyckids and the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #GiveBecause to get the word out. Take photos demonstrating why you love our organization and post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using @rwyckids and the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #GiveBecause. Do something kind for another person or donate to another local non-profit organization!
Your one day of giving will help us create years of educational experiences for our members, impacting their present and future in a big way! Thank you very much! Sincerely, The Senior Staff at Ralph Wilson Youth club
