Food Variety - By Sangeeta Nagpal 'Food is a critical part of everyone's life, be it meet basic essentials for survival or to savour the taste buds.' says Sangeeta Nagpal. 'And with shrinking of globe, there is too much of variety on platter. I have been foodie throughout my life and like to relish food from different countries - India, China, Italy, France, Japan topping the list, closely followed by Dubai (or Arabic in general), Thai and Continental. Even though I mentioned the names of various countries, it is quite amazing to see the variety of food within a country as well. You can take India as an example. Who cannot see the contrasting differences between food from North India to South India to East India to West India and even to Central India.' adds Sangeeta. 'I have been to India only couple of times in my life, yet each time I made a point to visit different region - just check on the food variety. And I was happily surprised on my decision.' details Nagpal.
'Ever since I was born in Malaysia, I have been fortunate to travel to different places in the world from neighbouring countries like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka to as far as UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi in particular) to Japan, China, Australia, USA and UK. Wherever I went, my first step was to try as much variety of food as I could. And after all sorts of vegetarian and non-vegtarian food, I have reached to a conclusion.
