FRESHERS PARTY The most awaited day for the new entrants of YMCA came on September 10, 2014. The University celebrated Reizo'14, its Freshers Party with a plethora of performances. The evening began with GANESH VANDANA dance as a token of respect to the almighty. The events that followed proved to be full of lustre. The group song by the musical society followed by a SPOOF on social networking by the drama cs club provided the ardent start required. Then started the Grand Finale of the FACE OF FRESHERS. A er an intriguing Ques onAnswering round followed by a ramp walk, the audience got their Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher in Pearl Makkar and Raghav Sharma respec vely.The following performances included BHANGRA, a SPOOF on Zombies and a swashbuckling ROCK BAND show. By this me, the energy in the crowd reached its peak and the people enjoyed their hearts out. The final touch was well provided by a WESTERN DANCE by the dancing society. This performance deserved huge applauds especially with the unsuppor ve weather condi ons. So overall, the day turned out to be the one most enjoyed by the freshers since their arrival in the collegea and we hope to see some of them on stage the next year.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION Teacher's Day is celebrated on 5th of September every year to express our gra tude towards our teachers. We YMCAians, who are so thankful to our teachers for their support, guidance and mentoring celebrated the day and expressed our love for them in the form of a cultural event. The event started with the Ganehsh Vandana, followed by a poem. They were not mere words but emo ons turning out into solid reality. A skit on the JUNGLE SCHOOL was also presented. It portrayed how a teacher shapes the future of this world and every individual. The last item was a song dedicated to all the teachers expressing our respect for them. The overall event le everyone nostalgic; strengthening the Teacher-Student bond even more.

THE JOY OF GIVING WEEK The Joy of Giving was organized from 3rd - 5th Nov 2014 by Department of Humani es and Sciences of YMCA UST, Faridabad. The students of the University presented the Nukad Natak to aware about the social problems and asked to donate the belongings(Old/New)-clothes, shoes, toys, books etc for the privilege children. They collected the same and distributed in orphanages and old age home. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor visited the Anchal Chanyan Orphanage, Baghola (adopted by the University) along with Prof. P R Sharma, Dean(SW) and Prof. Rajkumar, Dean & Chairman (HAS Department) and distributed bags and banquets to the children at Anchal Chanyan Orphanage. The event was organized by Dr. Sonia. 8
