CHAIRMAN'S

MESSAGE

H

istory is full of evidences which have witnessed numerous wars, freedom struggles of many countries which are full of violence, lies, dominance & betrayal. There were many heroes who have sacrificed there lives for the upliftment of their own countrymen who were struggling against the enemies who intrude their land and massacred people for their own benefit. India was not an exception to this but India's war of Independence was an exceptional one cause it was fought on the values of truth & non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi, a leader par excellence who taught the world the true meaning of independence & its value. He always said that “My religion is based on truth & nonviolence. Truth is my God. Non-violence is the means of realizing him”. He was a strong supporter of truth & non-violence and same he has practiced still his last breath. Today in this world where violence & unrest among the nations at its peak, the world needs to follow the principles of one of the greatest heroes of freedom struggle who taught the world that “an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind”. So be the change you want to see in the world.

Its role is to gather information of all stock at various stages and communicate with the different departments, so that production activities are synchronized. Raw materials mainly used are wool, polyester and viscose. The merino brand of wool is imported from Australia and supplied as rolls of fiber by the scouring and grey combing department. Polyester is basically synthetic fiber made by man which is in the form of staple fiber. Viscose is a regenerated cellulosic fiber which is made from wood pulp. Generally it is dope dyed by suppliers and is in fibrous form. Raw material goes to the Godown and the first stage of processing is Dyeing. Dyeing department issues fabrics produced at further stages which is in the form of roll of continuous fibre or filament of fibre and these are cut and converted into fibre in a rope form in the Converter section. The material is sent back to the raw material Godown from where it is further sent to dyeing department. Only after a perfect match with standard shades they are send to Recombing department. In the Recombing

department, rolls of fibre of polyester and wool are blended and mixed to produce a uniformity that ensures the fibre is untangled straightened and parallel. All the rolls of fibre (polyester and wool) are sent for spinning in the Spinning department. Simultaneously polyester and viscose fibre is dispatched to the Blowroom or P/V Spinning department where it is mixed in proportion (67% polyester and 33% viscose).
