What is ASHRAE's position on the use of internal duct lining?
ASHRAE addresses the use of duct liners in Chapter A48 of the 2011 ASHRAE Handbook – HVAC Applications. Information on Duct design can be found in Chapter F21 of the 2009 ASHRAE Handbook - Fundamentals and in Chapter S18 of the 2008 ASHRAE Handbook - Systems and Equipment.
