green. RAFT gathers unwanted items from local businesses and upcycles them into innovative and unique learning activities. So far, we have diverted approximately 50,000 cubic feet of waste from landfills.

We support teachers by turning their dimes into dollars. Educators

spend hundreds – even thousands -- of their own dollars every year on classroom materials; at RAFT, most of our abundant, unique items are available at 80 – 90% off retail prices every day. RAFT Colorado and its affiliates in San Jose and Sacramento serve over 12,000 teacher members who, with RAFT’s support, have helped almost a million students learn science, math, art, literacy, and 21st century skills.
