Butter Steamed Radishes Ingredients • • • •

20 radishes 2 tablespoons water 1/4 cup butter 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions 1. Scrub the radishes with an abrasive plastic pad reserved for vegetables followed by rinsing. Trim the ends and leaves off of the radishes. 2. If using the radish greens place the radish greens in a large bowl, and run warm water into it filling the bowl. Stir briskly with a utensil, then pour the water out and repeat. Allow to dry in a collender if possible. 3. Chop the radishes. 4. Steam the radishes for 10-20 minutes depending upon the desired tenderness. Cover with melted butter and salt to taste.
