Transition School to Work Services: Serve individuals from the age of 16-22 who are blind or visually impaired or have a disability. Must be selfsufficient in daily living skills, travel independently and demonstrate appropriate behavior. Program has all day or morning and afternoon sessions. Program focuses on preparing individuals for the world of work. Areas of training include soft-skills training, job readiness skills, and technology or adaptive aid training. Additionally, individuals learn skills in various vocational trades such as janitorial and floral arrangement.

Full Day (Monday – Friday) School to Work 9am – 3pm Hours of Operation

Half Day (Monday – Friday) Morning 9am – 11:30 am Afternoon 12:30 pm – 3pm

Children’s Services: Serve children who are blind and visually impaired ages 0-18. Program trainings are centered in the Expanded Core Curriculum(ECC) and other transition related services. The ECC includes assistive technology, compensatory skills, career education, independent living skills, orientation and mobility, selfdetermination, sensory efficiency, social skills and recreation and leisure. Trainings include family support groups, children and sibling trainings, school district focused training, and information and referral services.
