My responsibilities consist of overseeing core programs (including resident artists, exhibitions, education and community outreach) along with planning and implementing all communications and marketing strategies. This includes: •

Coordination of external communications including production of postcards, bi-annual newsletter, organizational brochures, catalogs, e-mail outreach/campaigns, press releases, print advertising, radio advertising and television advertising. This includes writing copy, selection of images, editing and proofing. Management of internal communications including scheduling and yearly calendar planning. Overseeing general public relations including general office email and publication and images requests. Design, upkeep and management of website content and social media campaigns. Assist in the planning and production of regular exhibition openings, artist talks, holiday sale and other special events such as the Mother’s Day fundraiser and annual benefit auction. Overseeing community and children’s class programs, including scheduling, recruiting and training instructors, publicity and ensuring class facilities are usable/kept up and payments are received. Management of workshops, including publicity, registration and participant communications, processing payments, preparing logistical details, ensuring needs of visiting artists/instructors are met and training workshop assistants. Facilitating artist residency application, review process and providing general assistance to resident artists. Supervising employees, interns, volunteers and artists. Serving as staff liaison to the Board of Directors.

Advertising and promotion of sales gallery (newspaper, postcards, television spots, radio spots). Planning, design and decorations for two annual fundraisers. Plan, schedule and manage special sales events, including the annual Holiday Sale. Management of inventory, POS system, consignment and wholesale purchases and payment of artists and bills.
