Seattle Rally Shenanigans

September means falling leaves, apple cider, and... Key Clubbers! The back-to-school grind is here! I hope all of you had a wonderful first week of school, and that your teachers didn’t load you with work the first weekend like mine did... While we’re all trying to get comfortable with the new season, let’s remember that Key Club is starting up soon and dedicate some time to our community as well! I hope that you

Division 21 PNW District

will all be encouraging your friends and any new students (freshmen!) to join Key Club, and that we’ll all be seeing new bumblebees soon! With new membership comes dues, and I’d like to remind the treasurers that early bird dues are due on November 1st! That is less than two months away, and you will not want to miss this deadline! I also wanted to say thank you to everyone that showed up at

Seattle Rally! I hope you got something out of the forums and, most of all, had fun.

In this issue: Greetings Sounders Nights Key Leader Dues Dues Dues!

DIvision 21’s long-term goals are to have all 12 clubs in their area have active status, be efficient in fundraising and awareness for Key Club International’s Major Emphasis projects as well as Pacific Northwest District’s projects, and have complete communication between all clubs regardless of distance. However, our biggest goals are those stated by Key Club International: To provide service, build character, and develop leadership.

DUES DUES DUES! Why are dues so important? Without dues, you can’t: * Go to DCON * Get Key Club scholarships or grants * Be an “official” member in the Key Club International database Division 21 Guidelines: 1.At least 15 members’ dues should be sent in from each club by the early bird deadline. 2.All 12 clubs in Division 21 must send in their dues by the early bird deadline: November 1st. 3.All other member dues must be sent in by the regular deadline, December 1st.

*If your club does not send in any dues by the early bird deadline, ALL of the clubs in division 21 are affected. Don’t let your dues be the cause of DCON overflow seating!

Seattle Rally Recap Bumblebees learned about our new district project, listened to speaker Hoan Do, and showed their Divison 21 spirit!
