BLOOD SAMPLING FOR HBV
Health Camp Rtr. Samden Sherpa Jan 12 General Health Camp camp was jointly organized by Rotary Club of Yala and Rotaract Club of Dillibazar at Tinchuli Boudha that was supported by Dharma Dada Sherpa Samaj, Mindrol Chengchup Chholing Trust, Quest pharmaceuticals and Dr. Reddy's Health Care. The major objective of the health camp was to screen the patiences for Hepatitis B and also make the people aware about the disease. According to the Doctors at Norvic Hospital, Hepatitis was mostly seen more among the Mongolian people thus the health camp was mainly focused for the Mongolian people living around Boudha. Besides the screening of Hepatitis B, general health checkup and free medicine distribution was also done. More than 86 families were benefited from the program and 72 blood samples were collected for the Hepatitis B test. General orientation about the disease was provided to the patients. The program ended with certificate distribution to the supporters and contributors of the health Camp.
ROTARACT CLUB OF DILLIBAZAR-KTM
Workshop on Health and Happiness Rtr. Arun Bhattarai Jan 5 Rotaract Club of Dillibazar organized a workshop on health and happiness at NIC college after the regular club meeting. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Bhawesh Khanal from â€œArt of Livingâ€? and Rtr. Ashish Chaulgain, DRRE. They talked about how people nowadays are facing stress in their daily life and presented the ways to minimize the stress. Some simple form of meditation were also done in the practical session of the training program. Rtr. Ashish Chaulagain also shared his experience as how meditation had brought a good change in his daily life

Proposal Writing Training Rtr. Samden Sherpa Jan 5 Proposal Writing training was organized on at Ramnagar party venue, Kapan which was facilitated by Rtn. Zonal Meeting Rtr. Shreejan Poudel Jan 12 8th Zonal meeting organized at Thames Intl College, Battisputali, was focused on Finalization of ZRR & ZS for 2013-14 and Zonal Activities. Rtr Laxmi Pd Khanal(from RaC Dillibazar Ktm) was elected as ZRR for next rota year and Rtr Amish Ratna Sthapit as ZS. Feedbacks and certificate distribution of district conference was done with various other discussions regarding the club and zonal activities.
