The Quinnipiac University School of Law is located on the main university campus (Mount Carmel Campus), set against the picturesque backdrop of Sleeping Giant State Park. While this scenic surrounding can create the illusion you are in a largely rural environment, Hamden is a vibrant and active town of about 60,000 residents. Combining the best elements of small-town New England life with the cultural and entertainment offerings of an urban center, Hamden is the perfect blend of urban and suburban, with the beaches of Long Island Sound only twenty minutes away.

The town of Hamden provides its own array of shops, dining options, and historic attractions, and the natural beauty of the area is preserved in its many parks and trails. As part of the greater New Haven area, Hamden is minutes away from the diverse cultural, entertainment, and culinary options of downtown New Haven. For those seeking to venture beyond Connecticut, Quinnipiac Law is located in the heart of New England, about ninety minutes from New York City, two hours from Boston, and three hours from many of Vermont’s finest ski resorts. If you have any questions about the law school or the community, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions at ladm@quinnipiac.edu or 203-582-3400.
