Message from the Outgoing President... The Junior Nebraska Cattlemen are starting their 12th year and membership remains around 00 from across the state. Beginning with the December shows, our board has decided to require registration papers on all breed steers. Nebraska is actually one of the very last states to go with this rule and now we can divide out the purebreds from the percentage steers, as national breed associations already do. Another change coming is the merger into a multi-species junior organization. Details are being considered and each species will have their own board and advisors. Change is constant but to grow and expand is truly a blessing in these questionable economic times.
