The school was built first time by Osman nuri bey,district governer of Gediz in 1924 and the education and teaching started in the name of Osman nuri bey primary school.Firstly our scool had a double-storied wooden building at sabır gazi street and then it was built again at Omer Lutfi and Kumtaş street. The education was maintened in the name of Omer Bey school until 1936 and İnönü school untill 1950. Finaly it took the name kurtuluş primary school in 1950 and continued its education untill 1969 in the same building. the school moved to the new building in the savaş başı zone in 1969-1970 education year.however, it was moved again to Yenigediz in 1971 due to the earthquake that happened on March 28, 1970. The education went on here in a frefab building until october 21,1983 and there were only 6 classrooms


With the affords of Omer Büyükkent,district governer of Gediz, a cooperation between state and public was started in 1990 and four more classrooms were added. So in 1990s there were a multipurpose hall,a nursery,a science lab,eleven classrooms and two administration rooms, In 1997-1998 education year, our school began to 8 year compulsory education system. On september 1, 2005 the annex with the Project number 10415A was built by SAGE building campany and comleted on september 15,2006.The education studies are also going on in this new building. It has a nursery,ten classrooms, two science labs, a computer lab,a multipurpose hall, a library and two administration rooms At present, there are 17 classes and 2 nursery classes in our school. From its initial opening time, Almost 2600 pupils graduated from our school

Strengths 1- It is in town centre(accessible) 2- There is IT classroom 3- There is internet in each computer

Weaknesses 1-being in the town centre our students are affected by unpleasant environment(Internet cafes, high schools)

2- Inadequate dialogue between teachers

4- It has science and technology lab 3- Lack of indoor gymnasium 5- The number of students in each class is ideal. 6- The rate of students who are enrolled to any reputable high school after national exam -sbs exam is high 7- It is a kind of day school

Strengths 8- facilities for sporting activities (basketball,football, volleyball courts) 9- Hall for cultural activities 10-cooperation among administration, teachers and other staff members 11- Parents’ positive viewpoint to school 12- school staff is positive for any kind of innovations. 13- physical appearrance of school and garden is almost faultless

Weaknesses


Advantages 1- school staff is adequate(no need for personel) 2- physical conditions are good. 3- Ĺt’s a central school. 4- We have well-educated and wise school parents. 5- our school is quite popular in the public eye. 6- if required, other utilities provide support to our school.

Disadvantages 1- due to the immigrations from countrysides, School has always newcomers,so the new Students have some problems in adaptation process. 2- the main street is in front of the school

3- There are many internet cafes near the school


Advantages 7-There are a science-high school,an Anatolian Teacher High school,two Anatolian High schools,a Vocational Industry high school,a Vocational School for Girl, a Vocational Commercial High school and Vocational Religious High school 8- We have succesful, experinced and idealist teachers

a) ​The school building and related issues: There is no problem related to the physical structure, but the garden should be re-arranged and also natural gas should be used b) The teacher or administrator deficiency-excess: Administrator staff is enough,maths teacher,necdet taşğın is norm surplus. This case is informed to ilsis. There is no teacher deficit c) Other issues related to the number of staff: There are 2 assistant servants. We need an officier because our officier was appointed to Anatolian teacher high school. d) Problems with school capacity: None e) Student attendance-absence-related issues: There is no problem related to student absenteeism. However, two students from 8th grades are constantly absent. It is not known where Gulşah Alaca’s family moved to and the legal process on Süveybe GAYRET's absenteeism is going on at present. Also,students are late for school from time to time


1- Laying out garden, 2- Passing natural gas usage, 3- Repairing the roof of old building and, replacement of gutters, 4- Having exterior paint of the both buildings 5- the regulation of the classes technologically, 6- To overcome the lack of communication between two buildings by building a tube passage

Information Technology class •We have 16 computers totally,15 of which are for pupils and one for teacher •It has an uninterruptible power supply, a scanner, a printer, and a projection device •It is used as Information Technology class since 2006 • Students can do their homework or extensive researches in Information Technology class.


LIBRARY •

It is on the third floor of the new building

We have quite different books (novel, story, children's books, magazines, etc.).

The library is continuously open under the supervision of two students on duty .

The students on duty are responsible for keeping a list of books that are borrowed and they should provide the composition and layout of the library

Turkish lessons and social club studies are sometimes done in the library.


Science and Technology Laboratory •

It is fully equipped with adequate tools and materials used during

the course •

It is also enriched with the tasks that our students performed.

the terms of the day are gained with the Computer-aided studies .


Technology and Design Laboratory •

Our laboratory has necessary equipment so that students can design to make life easier using their imaginations .
