Goals Update- Taking One Step at a Time!! Hey there CKI members! As the semester is coming to an end and we are making plans for the coming summer and fall semesters, we are psyched to share with you that we have big plans for the growth and accomplishments of this club. Some of these goals are: Achieve 750 sevice hours for the 2011-2012 year Raise $500 for Unicef’s Six Cents (Save 8,333 lives) Raise $1,000 or more for TWO Rockin’ for Charity Events Provide 555 vaccines for MNT to save 1,110 lives Complete 192 hours for the Governer’s Project Provide in meeting opportunities to complete service hours! Host at least one fellowship event per month Increase membership by 75 percent Send at least all officers to DCON Select a member of the month
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT OUR CLUB!! MORE MEMBERS = MORE FUN! BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO MEETINGS!!

Paper Cranes for Japan
This was a fellowship event for members to get acquainted with each other and have a good time. We watched Disneyâ€™s Tangled. There was a small turnout but it was still awesome!

Easter Egg Hunt for Charity
We - sold cupcakes, brownies, Entenmanns cakes! It was a great way to kick off the new service year! We raised $100
This event was held at Adelphi University. The teams were broken up by clubs. Whoever found the most eggs got to choose which charity the money raised goes to. They raised about $100
Peanut Butter and Jelly making Event
Volunteers made PB&J -lunchbags for the homeless. Along with that -we folded and organized donated clothing. The club hosting this event was -NYPERG and they did an awesome job organizing -the whole thing!
Divisional Meeting at Columbia At this meeting the splitting of the devision was discussed!
Bowling with Bayside Key Club This event was tons of fun. The Bayside Key club was awesome! They raised about $700 for Japan!
