As the service year comes to an end, the hard work and dedication that members of Queens College Circle K has committed to the community all year long hasn’t gone unnoticed. This year was a great year and we made it through many challenges as we continued to grow vigorously as a club. With much support from our Kiwanians, the district, and members, QCCKI will continue to flourish and continue to do great projects to serve the community. This mini newsletter serves as your guide to the upcoming service year! With a bit of information on the newly elected executive board as well as announcements on some very awesome and important events that you will not want to miss! Check it out!

New England, Capital, Eastern Canada, New York, and New Jersey too, we are Subregion F and we love service through and through. We care, share, lead, and do fellowship the best and never stop serving because we need no rest. April 26- April 28 New Paltz

District Large Scale Service Project. A weekend of hands on service! As you gather in groups and go to different sites and do different things like park clean ups, soup kitchens, painting and much more! Registration: $30 and round trip bus ride will be around $30

International Convention June 26 – June 30 Vancouver, Canada Check out the facebook page: ICON brings together CKI’ers from all around the world. This week of service, fellowship and leadership will be an unforgettable experience! You are sure to make new friends and have a great time as you participate in different service projects and workshops! LSSP Large Scale Service Project June 23 – June 26 Vancouver, Canada This event is the service part of international convention. This is just like DLSSP but EVEN BIGGER because you will be doing service with people from around the world. EVENTS COMING SOON FOR QCCKI Thursday April 4 Amazing Race St. Johns University 1:50 - 4:50 PM $5 per person. $3 for person with canned food products. and $20 for a group or $17 for a group with canned food products. Saturday April 6 Kiwanis One Day 8:45AM-12:00PM We will be volunteering with Cozy Homes Reality on abandoned and distressed properties. 225-01 Linden Blvd

Saturday April 13 Dance Away Cancer At St. Leos Auditorium in Corona, Queens. $15 for circle K'ers. This is a dance marathon held by the corona Leos to raise funds for cancer research.

Thursday April 18 Queens College CKI Amazing Race 5:00 PM on campus. We will team up in groups to follow clues around campus to finish the race! This will be tons of fun so JOIN US!

Thursday April 25 - Friday April 26 Queens College Relay for Life Supporting the American Cancer Society. This is a campout in the QC Gym. Registration is $10 before April 5 th. After that, registration goes up to $20. Heres the Relay for Life Page for QC! /RFLFY13National?fr_id=48243&pg=entry
