CRUCIFICTION OF JESUS

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

(MARK 14:33,34) He was sad and sorrowful when he learnt he was to be killed. How can paul preach he died for the sins of mankind ?

HE WAS BETRAYED: Christians believe Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed himself for the sins of mankind. They believe he was betrayed by Judas. Four gospels conform this.

And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

(LUKE 22:2-6) But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
