Q.P.I. Group Q.P.I. was founded in 1988 in the Netherlands. Since than Q.P.I. grew rapidly and developed more and more into a technology company, which developed and industrialised pioneering interconnection technologies for many clients. Today Q.P.I. has evolved into a technology house, with it own metallurgy lab, for advanced interconnection technologies and a one-stop-shop for the development A FineLine Global Company and production of Printed Circuit Boards from the idea phase, through the development phase and into mass production. Q.P.I.'s trademark of the first few years, quality, speed and service, is been since then. Q.P.I. offers EDA activities using multiple programs from Mentor Graphics, Zuken, Cadence and Altium and has a model-shop to offer quick-turn, hand mounted, assembled prototypes. In 2015 Q.P.I. became part of the FineLine Global Group, increasing the options to offer low-cost solutions.

Production Q.P.I., as IPC member, offers printed circuit boards made according IPC A600 class 2 or 3 under stringent process conditions. The PCB are conforming UL certification, RoHS and/or ISO TS 16949. Also MIL-P-55110 and MIL-P-50884 approved PCBs are possible. All our PCB’s are 100% electrically tested Q.P.I. is focussed to supply always the most optimal product solution for its customers. To guarantee the best technical solution and the highest quality Q.P.I. divided the PCB products in several market segments:

CAM Q.P.I. makes use of Genesis 2000. The jobs are evaluated inspected and engineered by either the CAM department in Netherlands or China. In case of technical questions the customer will be contacted for clarification and to resolve the issue, assuring that the most optimal process conditions are used during manufacturing of the PCB, thus assuring the highest quality. In case of special specification requirements the CAM department will take those into account. This can be on product but also on customer base. Q.P.I. issues in that case a specific customer specification.

Qualification of the production is for Q.P.I. of utmost importance. Only with the use of well-designed processes optimal quality products can be realized. As part of the release products have been carefully analysed by our quality engineers. Inspection data is statistically analysed to signalize trends in the production.

Capabilities Q.P.I. will always strive to provide its clients with the products and technologies which they require. Should these products not already exist, Q.P.I. will develop them or develop them in cooperation with others. Laboratory The laboratory can do complete analyses of the PCBs’. Among others equipment to make cross-sections, callipers for mechanical and thickness measurement, optical inspection systems and microscopes. Furthermore a Fischerscope XRAY for surface finish inspections, 3D X-ray for non-destructive quality investigations and solderability test equipment are available. For life time and quality investigations temperature cabinets are available.

Inspection in-line, both product and process, is crucial to guarantee the product quality. Nevertheless outgoing inspection is important to assure that the product is in full compliance with the specification.

Packaging The printed circuit boards are packed in vacuum sealed plastic. For flex product an alternative will be chosen based on the type of product. All products will be packed in an airworthy, neutral coloured, corrugated boxes, respecting maximal weights per single box for easy handling. In case of special wishes those likely can be honoured.
