Clear area of unneeded objects. Elevate the flammable object above the ground, use sand to create a perimeter around the object, the sand will prevent spreading. Fire extinguishers should be on hand at all times during the life of the flame.

Evacuate area and attempt to stop the flames using the fire extinguishers and sand. If the fire is too large and out of control, evacuate the area immediately and call the appropriate Emergency Services.

Flammable object falling from its stand

D - Unlikely (Could occur at some time)

2-5 (Possible death and major injuries/ damage.)

High(H) - Extreme(E) risk. (Senior attention is required)

Clear area of unneeded objects. Fix the flammable object down to the stand. Be sure that the stand is on level and even ground.

Evacuate area and attempt to stop the flames using the fire extinguishers and sand. Do not attempt to move the fallen object. Call Emergency Services as appropriate.

Electrocution

E - Rare (May occur only in exceptional circumstances)

2-5 (Possible death and major injuries/ damage. Electrical burns likely)

High(H) - Extreme(E) risk. (Senior attention is required)

Perform an equipment check and be sure that the fuses of said equipment are intact and operational. Make sure that there is no water or liquids near wires/equipment

Check damages and injuries and call the emergency services if appropriate. Make sure the injured person is safe and give them a place to rest/wait for emergency services, keep them under supervision.

Fire (From separate sources)

D - Unlikely

2-5 (Possible death and major injuries/ damage.)

E - Extreme Risk

Check the origin of the fire (e.g. electrical etc)

If small fire, attempt to put out with appropriate fire extinguishers. If large, evacuate and call Fire Dept.

Injury from moving Heavy equipment

C - Moderate

2 (Minor injuries or damage possible)

M - moderate Risk

Two people to carry or move the equipment using rough working gloves for grip and to avoid injury.

Check for injury and damage, call management or ambulance if necessary.

Overheating equipment

C - Moderate

2 (Minor injuries or damage possible)

M - Moderate Risk

Run a check of the equipment before use, assess risk. Provide heat resistant gloves as a precaution.

Allow equipment to cool and run an equipment check with caution. Call for assistance from management if necessary.

Potential theft of equipment

E - Rare

1-2 (Minor injuries possible but unlikely)

E - Extreme Risk

Make sure there is a sufficient number of staff around to deter thieves, keep senior staff near vicinity.

Let the thieves take what they want, call police and senior management to area. Pack up remaining equipment and abort filming process for the day.

M to E High Risk to Extreme Risk

Make sure that all unauthorized personnel are well away from the ignition area. Wear fire retardant gloves/clothing. Act responsibly and sensibly in the area of ignition.

Check damages and injuries and call the emergency services if appropriate. Make sure the injured person is safe and give them a place to rest/wait for emergency services, keep them under supervision. Consult the First Aid guide for information on treating the injury until an Ambulance has arrived.

Tripping and/or falling over wires/equipment

C - Moderate (Might occur at any time)

1-3 (Minor/moderate injuries and damage possible)

L to M Low Risk to Moderate Risk

Tape down wires with high visibility tape. Place warning signs in the area.

Check damages and injuries. Consult First Aid guide if necessary.
