Football Underway . . . PV Mavericks open fall sports.
• Football and soccer take over the Peninsula fall sports season. The Bobcat Flag Division of Pop Warner football began the competitive home sports season with games at the Peninsula High Pit last week. High school football and Pop Warner tackle teams as well as the Challenger team play home games this weekend. AYSO also opens its fall season this weekend with Picture Day at the Peninsula High baseball field. The Peninsula is back in action and so is PANORAMA!
