High Density Polyurethane can spread into voids as small as 1/32”. It expands and flows into cracks and voids far beyond the initial injection hole. When restricted, the density of the polyurethane will increase. In unrestricted conditions, polyurethane foam will rise and maintain a density of at least 2.5 lbs./cubic ft. Polyurethane foam density will vary depending on restriction conditions, but maintains a compressive strength of at least 75 psi, or more for higher density foams.

CONCRETE LIFTING AND LEVELLING When a concrete surface is no longer providing safe, solid support due to settlement issues, prompt action is necessary before the problem gets worse.

Before you demolish the concrete slab, consider the advantages of PolyLevel®, an innovative alternative to common concrete remediation methods like mud-jacking, concrete grinding, and total concrete replacement.

PURLIFT POLYURETHANE INJECTION PROCESS The PURLIFT polyurethane injection process is used to lift, level and stabilize concrete slabs. This method offers superior results compared to other traditional methods when lifting and stabilizing sunken slabs, due to its superior characteristics such as: COST-EFFECTIVENESS - The Polyurethane foam injection method avoids the high cost of tear out and replacement. If down-time means money, our solution is the one for you.

QUICK CURE TIME - Our non-intrusive process along with fast curing times allows for the repaired area to be fully functional within 15 minutes of injection, as opposed to days or weeks when using traditional methods.

HYDROPHOBIC - High-density polyurethane can be used in wet applications and has the same chemical reaction and properties as with dry applications.

MOISTURE BARRIER - Polyurethane foam is entirely waterproof and almost completely impermeable to other liquids, offering a strong, watertight containment system. It is also unaffected by freeze-thaw cycles.

LIGHTWEIGHT - Weighing less than 150 pounds per cubic yard, high-density polyurethane is comparably over 2,200 pounds LESS weight per cubic yard than traditional mud-jacking material.

When using polyurethane foam, you are adding little additional overburden weight to an already distressed sub-grade.

PURJECTION – DEEP FOAM INJECTION (DFI) Considered an upgrade to standard concrete raising, PURJECTION by PURLIFT® is the process by which foam is injected deeper into the ground so as to increase the load bearing capacity of substrates.

Installing foam deeper into the ground is done in order to repair the subgrade that allowed the slab to settle in the first place. DFI is not only the process by which soil strength is improved, but the surface above the soil can also be lifted within the same process, be it concrete slabs, asphalt, or gravel. These types of lifts can be applied to numerous types of infrastructure such as roads & highways (asphalt), railroads (gravel), rural roads (gravel/dirt), bridges (asphalt/concrete), and much more.

Knowing where to install injection points and how much material to pump can differ from job to job. For more precise placement, the use of testing tools, soil analysis and/or engineering reports serve as important means in evaluating each situation.

Post-project soil testing can verify the results achieved by injecting foam.

Deep foam injection can address common problem areas that may occur due to events such as the installation/removal of water mains thus disrupting the soil, weak soils created when houses/buildings are built, or disturbed soil usually within four feet of a newly constructed foundation.

DFI can be compared to tree roots. As a tree grows, the roots sprawl out in different directions. It is often suggested that in order to prevent erosion, plant trees that develop root systems. The root system intertwines with earth, binding it together. In short, PURJECTION creates man-made root systems by way of deep foam injection.

PURFILL – VOID FILLING PURFILL is a pre-expanded foam formula with ideal characteristics for any void-filling applications. Pumped at full capacity, PURFILL foam does not lose volume when pumped in confinement. PURFILL is a versatile, hydroinsensitive, pre-expanded foam for use in many geotechnical applications.

The foaming reaction does not generate heat, allowing it to be used to fill voids of any size. Cured PURFILL is chemically inert, and when injected underground, improves soil bearing capacity. This makes it a great fit for lifting and leveling jobs including airport runways and industrial buildings. Foam density can be easily adjusted on site, allowing the installer to tailor the foam to fit any application.

PURFILL is an organic material that is a resin blown foam. This foam is nitrogen rich and harmless to the environment. Nitrogen is not toxic; 78% of the air we breathe contains this gas. PURFILL is lightweight, durable, solvent free, non-toxic, inert, non-flammable, and rot-resistant to both salt and fresh water.

PURFILL is developed by combining three components, air, resin and a hardener.

Air can be adjusted to control the density of the product. The resin is aerated into foam and then mixed with the hardener. There is a polymerization reaction between the resin and hardener. This process cures the outer shell of the cell to develop into inert foam. When this happens, the components of both resin and hardener are consumed. Water is the only bi-product of PURFILL.

PURBIND – SOIL BINDING PURBIND soil binder is a low viscosity single component resin designed to bind and stabilize loose soils. PURBIND can be applied both topographically or injected into the ground. Once cured, PURBIND fills voids and forms a watertight barrier.

In situations whereby soil erosion is problematic, PURBIND bonds loose soils rendering them impervious to extreme heat or cold, wind, rain, snow, drought, or high humidity.

No matter what, PURBIND will stand up to the elements. It is also an ideal product in tackling situations that require dust suppression.

Large landscaping projects can be completed with relative ease, as PURBIND can be applied by spraying the affected area. In other instances, PURBIND can be used to support items such as posts, or to solidify the ground in order to support above-ground structures.

PURBIND is formulated to bind peat, loose sands, and soils. It can also be used to stabilize soils beneath sea walls, helical piers, and concrete floors, and much more...

At Purlift, we understand the importance of caring for the environment. As such, we are proud to say that the material we install is Ecofriendly in that, once injected and fully cured, it is inert. Our foam does not leach any harmful chemicals into the ground over time, and the process itself contributes greatly to the reduction of concrete being sent to landfills by rehabilitating rather than replacing concrete slabs.

Our ASTM tested hydrophobic foams are the best available for the purpose of raising sunken concrete, filling voids, and binding weak or unstable soils.
