2013 AUGUST 16-18 • FIRE ISLAND PINES Ascension Beach Party Weekend is a summer celebration that brings together the gay and lesbian community and attracts thousands of visitors from across the globe for three days of spectacular events. Ascension is in its eighth year and has already grown from a one day beach party to an entire weekend of sold-out events with headlining performances by billboard chart-topping artists such as Kelly Rowland, Neon Hitch and Dragonette. Ascenion is produced by the Fund in the Sun Foundation. Our organization raises money for local and national charitable groups that benefit the LGBT community. Ascension’s main event is a world-class, daytime beach party with a planned attendance of up to 7,500 guests. A monumental dance floor is constructed and surrounded by Luxury Cabanas. Our unsurpassed sound system and top DJ’s create an unforgettable experience, where are guests may “ascend” above their worries and cares and dance the day away under the sun on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach party is just one of many events that will bring together thousands of celebrants and will offer our sponsors many opportunities and channels to advertise and promote their brands and products. Ascension has appeared in numerous gay publications such as DNA Magazine, OUT Magazine, and our star performances have even been featured on PerezHilton.com. HISTORY OF THE PINES Fire Island Pines is a gay island resort and beach destination that truly appeals to the luxury minded. We build on the casual island beach heritage, offering a luxury lifestyle resort experience.
