Students who have 10 or more unexcused absences for this semester in one or more classes may appeal their grade. If a student does not appeal his/her grade, it will become an “NC” (no credit). Appeal forms are available from Ms. Angie Ortiz in the main office. The deadline for all appeals is Friday, January 14, 2011.

CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS Seniors who have failed a class required for graduation should contract the Senior Counselor, Jean Mulvaney, to arrange for credit recovery options. These options include: PLATO (AM & PM), Agave Distance Learning, Warrior Weekend Academy and Pueblo Alternative Learning (PAL). In addition, students can take courses through the Weekend Academy at Project MORE.
AIMS TESTING The AIMS tests will be March 1, 2 and April 5, 6. This test is for all sophomores plus those juniors and seniors who need to retake the test for a passing score. DIGITAL MARQUEE Construction on 12 th Avenue is complete. Check out our new digital marquee when you drive by Pueblo for important upcoming events.
Pueblo High School will be closed for winter break from December 20 to 31. We will open again on Monday, January 3 at 7:00 a.m.
REGISTRATION FOR 201112 SCHOOL YEAR In mid January all students will preregister for the next school year. Here you have a perfect opportunity to ask your child about her/his 4 year plan. This plan shows all of the courses taken so far and those to be taken for graduation. Students who plan to go to college after high school will have some additional course requirements. If you have any questions about the 4 year plan please contact your child’s counselor at 2254303.
¡SI SE PUEDE DAY! Once again we are inviting Pueblo High School Alumni to talk to students about their careers. ¡Sí Se Puede Day! will be on Thursday, January 27.
