PROJECT THIRD WORLD As we can see there are many different options when it comes to choosing a vegetarian diet. If you are trying to decide on a vegetarian diet, try ease into it and start at the bottom of the list with the least restrictive type ‘Flexitarian’ and then gradually reduce meat over time and move your way up the list until you are at a type which suits your lifestyle and preferences. Most of these options are healthier than a typical Australian diet so take your time and explore the different possibilities before making your decision as you want it to be a “healthy lifestyle change” that suits your body and not a “diet fad”. ■ Sonia Kauhra
