Skin care is very important to us and that is why we are excited to announce we have added two microdermabrasion treatments to our menu in perfect time for the upcoming holiday season. Microdermabrasion is a procedure that exfoliates and removes the superficial layer of dry and dead skin cells on the face. Our treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently exfoliate your skin, removing the thicker uneven outer layer. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration and sun damage. After spending the summer days in the sun, the Deluxe Microdermabrasion facial will help soften, brighten and refresh your skin leaving you feeling a fresh transformation as you start taking on all the other fall season changes. Whether you are sad to see the summer end or delighted that fall is upon us, we hope to see you in The Spa when you are ready to embrace the changing of the seasons.

Fall Landscape Care

Homeowners, who aerate and fertilize their lawns in the fall, have greener and healthier lawns come spring and summer. Both aeration and fertilization are a must to help your lawn’s roots retain water and nutrients during the dry winter months. Colorado’s semi-arid climate continues to keep our urban lawns under extreme stress, but a fall combo of winter fertilizer and aeration will help lawns survive through the winter and look great come spring. Here’s how it works: Compacted soils and thick layers of thatch prevent water from getting to your lawn’s roots. By removing cores or plugs of soil, core aeration helps most of the water that your lawn receives penetrate into the root zone. It is also recommended to trim trees and shrubs during the fall and winter months to help prepare your plant’s branches from breakage during heavy or wet snow storms. Certain Varieties of trees, such as crabapples should only be pruned during the dormant season to prevent the spread of fire blight. The dormant season is also the perfect time to trim overgrown evergreen and spruce trees.
