Colin Cameron, Deputy Executive Director of the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators Join us for a presentation by Colin Cameron who has a keen eye on what is happening in the field of education around the state. Colin has been associated with many professional organizations including the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the Oregon Staff Development Council, and the Oregon Department of Education. Colin has successfully met the demands of Oregonâ€™s educational community for many years by providing trainings through COSA and we welcome his insight into the changing landscape of continuing education.
Keynote: Unpacking Some Big Ideas Professional learning has never been as important as it is today for our professional educators. To meet the needs of an ever changing learning landscape, we must provide not only the content but also the ongoing support and implementation environment for continuous growth. We will unpack some lessons learned and some ideas for the future.
Graduate School of Education PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY
The GSE has moved to a new interim home at 1900 SW Fourth Avenue, also known as the Fourth Avenue Building (FAB), on the corner of SW Harrison and Fourth Avenue. Entry to GSE offices will be via the elevators in the middle of the building. The FAB building will serve as the interim home of the GSE for the next 3-5 years while a new permanent space is created on the PSU campus.
Parking Information Parking is available under the Fourth Avenue Building at PSU rates. Look for the parking entrance on Fourth Avenue across from College Avenue. Street parking is also available on the surrounding blocks. Graduate School of Education PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY
