The students endeavoured to gauge community interest through Facebook and an online survey. “In total, we had responses from around 80 to 90 people which, with a population in the shire of 28,000, is certainly not a very robust figure,” Mr Powrie said. “But that was only over a matter of a couple of weeks and the plan now is to extend the study for the next couple of months and branch out into schools and community groups to offer the online survey and possibly offer it through information centres and local newspapers as well.” Mr Powrie said the snapshot of opinion already provided had thrown up some consistent ideas from Moira Shire residents. “The information already gathered did
