PRSJ considering CARIMAC’s MASTER IN INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS DEGREE PROGRAMME The Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) has given the PRSJ the opportunity to review the proposed Master in Integrated Marketing Communications Degree outline. Favourable feedback from the target audience is a part of the university’s approval process for the course. UPCOMING EVENTS The 3rd International Conference on Climate Services (ICCS 3) will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, December 4-6, 2013. The conference will be hosted by the Ministry of Water, Land Environment and Climate Change through the Meteorological Service of Jamaica in collaboration with Climate Services Partnership, United States Agency for International Development and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

During the three-day conference, climate information users, providers, donors, and researchers will explore the use of climate information to improve decision making in order to help manage the impact of drought, improve coastal resilience, and mitigate the incidence of climate-sensitive disease. Representatives from development organisations such as the United States Agency for International Development, UK’s Department of International Development, Gesellschaft fßr Internationale Zusammenarbeit ,World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank will be in attendance.
