PROVO, Utah. -The Provo YSA 145th ward will hold its monthly Family Home Evening on Monday, March 4. Home Evening groups, or families have been meeting at least twice a month in their small groups giving them plenty of opportunities to learn about each other and foster meaningful relationships in the ward. Group leaders Sarah Elder and Jordan Stark, along with the FHE moms and dad, planned this months bowling event. The ward will meet at the Branbury clubhouse at 7 p.m. in order to set up a carpool

system to the bowling alley. Those who have cars are encouraged to bring them to help accomodate other members that need transportation to the bowling alley. At sacrament meeting, Bishop Fox implored members of the ward to participate in activities like ward prayer, family history, and choir. Attendance in family home evening helps everyone get to know one another and build each other up. For more information about this event, contact you FHE mom or dad, or the group leaders above.

The ward Relief Society is gearing up to celebrate its anniversary on Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. Relief Society president Casey Evenhus, along with her presidency are dubbing the event as a birthday celebration. The Relief Society is the oldest women’s group in the world. It was organized in Nauvoo, Illinois with Emma Smith as its first president. The groups’ aim was and continues to be that of service to those that are in need

of help. In concordance with it’s goal, they will also be holding a service activity on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. The Elder Quorum will also be holding its first activity of the semester on Saturday, March 16 for a games night of sorts. Take advantage of the few activities that the Relief Society and Elder’s Quorum are planning and get more information from the presidency.
