ENGINEERING Adding value through best solutions Engineering plays a key role throughout the implementation of any project but adds more value in the initial stages by assuring deployment of the best solutions. Using internationally recognized design automation tools, a team of professionals analyze the basic design having in mind the client’s needs and requirements, as well as the specific characteristics of the project in terms of procurement, civil construction and electromechanical assembly. This stage is followed by rigorous detail engineering that results in an optimized design ready for execution with a minimum of unforeseen events and rework. The engineering team who develop the design oversee commissioning and preoperational and start-up assistance.

PROCUREMENT Promon’s capacity to develop partnerships and articulate an extensive network of suppliers is a key factor in the successful implementation of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Capacity to develop partnerships Each project has a team in charge of procurement with a remit to acquire and expedite supplies as quickly and flexibly as possible, paying special attention to logistics and integration with construction, assembly and field inventory control.

The Promon Management System is referenced to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK), a set of guidelines to best practices issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and designed to guarantee project execution within the scope, timeframe, costing plan and quality standards established by the client, centralizing coordination so as to integrate all stages of implementation.

Process optimization, standardization of work specifications and training are vital elements of Promon’s pursuit of continuous improvement in all its activities.

Staff in charge of project management are PMI-certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs), all of whom have a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
