Welcome back! After a very pleasant summer which presented Belgium, The Netherlands and Portugal with some days of wonderful August weather, we are back to our activities and we have very good news to share with you. After PROCOS NL‘s successful first presentation, we already performed a second and third presentation sessions. It makes us very proud to see these demonstrations of interest by some of the main stakeholders in the Dutch FM industry, as they represent the recognition of the quality of our work and the innovation and added value for the FM market of our propositions. ARCHIBUS was once again considered “Leader” by Gartner, a widely renowned market research firm. Our Managing Partner, Jos Duchamps, hosted BringFM!’s first General Assembly, as Chairman of the Board of this recent established association that will create a bridge between the FM industry and the EU institutions. With so many good news, we expect to share with you our positive energy and wish you success for the last quarter of this challenging year!
Greenhaus at Arnhems buiten in the Netherlands TCN (www.tcnpp.com), draaijer+partners (www.draaijerpartners.nl) and PROCOS NL have set up a partnership to launch the “Greenhaus” in Arnhem (NL). In the Greenhaus, Facility Management organizations from the Netherlands and Germany will share idea’s, knowledge and develop new FM initiatives. By bringing together different actors in the built environment (consultants, architects, suppliers, contractors, trainers, etc), the Greenhaus will initiate co-working and create opportunities for the partners and members. Beginning 2013 the Greenhaus will open. ARCHIBUS and Revit (Autodesk) : a unique bi-directional, seamless integration Building Information Modeling (BIM) has enabled a richly detailed and collaborative approach to the way buildings are designed and constructed. It lacks, however, a way to easily scale to the portfoliolevel and to connect with business data. ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for Revit addresses that need to a true BIM 4.0 application designed from a facility manager’s perspective. It provides quick access to Revit graphics and COBie information using Web Services to connect Revit models to ARCHIBUS enterprise data. This gives users a 4-dimensional view of an organization and its processes. In addition, the Smart Client Extension implements rules and workflows that coordinate the bi-directional data exchange and updates the BIM model itself, to keep everything in-synch.

Forbes. The new Web Central applications had to seamlessly replace the existing client/server technology. One of the challenges of the project was the implementation of the ARCHIBUS Service Desk and ARCHIBUS On Demand Work with a mobile application for a Motorola device running Windows Mobile. The requests and work orders for service and maintenance interventions are managed by the ARCHIBUS applications. The PROCOS Group engineers developed a 'nearline' application that updates the information and insures an “always connected” system.
