It supports voice and video communication calls to mobile phones and tablets and can be integrated into security systems. The indoor viewer (right) is a 7” 1024 x 600 pixel touch screen device that can be desk or wall mounted. Review: A flexible system with great potential for mobile, remote, or central monitoring station use. It is potentially let down by its lack of worked examples for some of the commissioning settings, but manufacturer support should help overcome this. Score: 7.5/10

MaxxOne – M1P-IPC-080 A combination test unit for both analogue and IP CCTV systems. Its touch-screen control allows selection of a wide range of functions such as camera testing and set up, wireless network signal strength monitoring and multi-meter functions all in one compact unit.
