Driver’s Education (Ages 14-18) A comprehensive program is offered through Community Education, including 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of private behind-the-wheel training as is required by the state of Minnesota for drivers under the age of 18. Our course includes defensive driving techniques, hands-on, dynamic curriculum and experienced, certified instructors. You are welcome to take the 30 hours of classroom instruction at age 14 or older, however you do need to be 15 to take the knowledge test to receive a permit. If you need to miss 1-2 classes, makeup classes may be arranged. Once you receive a valid permit, behind the wheel lessons may be set up on an individual basis and include home pick-up in the district area. Online registration is now available at www.priorlakesavagece.com. If you have questions, call Ann-Marie at 952.226.0080. #6100E Monday-Thursday Monday-Thursday Tuesday-Wednesday
