It provides a rare opportunity to meet others like you, connect with them and share strategies. Experts will present on different topics each month based on requests from the group and there will be time for questions, discussing and laughing. We will learn about homework strategies, healthy eating, relationships, sleep, parenting, dealing with emotions, motivation, medication and much more. Whether you are a parent or spouse or have ADHD yourself, you will find this group invaluable. Come and learn the latest on what works to manage the challenges of ADHD. Daddy Daughter Dance (Girls Age 12 & Under with an Adult) The dance is all about you, but it wouldn’t be the same without your perfect date. Invite your dad, uncle, grandpa, older adult brother, or a favorite family friend as your escort. Dress up if you think it is fun and you’re looking for an excuse, or wear whatever you want for dancing and twirling. Silver Sound Productions will help set the tone for the evening with plenty of family friendly songs, dances, games, and contests. Every girl will receive a favor. What is Love & Logic all about? The Love & Logic philosophy is dedicated to making parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. Kindred Hearts will provide practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children and help them prepare their kids for the real world. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows them to live with the consequences of their choices. Why does Love & Logic work? -Uses humor, hope, and empathy to build up the adult-child relationship -Emphasizes respect and dignity both for children and adults -Provides real limits in a loving way -Teaches consequences and healthy decision-making Teachers and parents will leave with specific strategies to begin using immediately.

The movies are free but please bring your donations to benefit the Community Education Scholarship Fund. No preregistration is necessary but you must sign in at the event. No food or beverage is allowed in the auditorium. Students in grades 5 and under must attend with an adult.

Keep on Moving with kidcreate studio (ages 18mos.-6yrs & an Adult) Shake, step, toss, dip, dance, and doodle. You will experience art while moving in all different ways. A variety of interesting tools and techniques will be used to create art that will really “move” you and your parent! You will be painting with your toes, tying and dyeing, throwing paint covered balls and much more. All while you are moving and grooving to some great kid music. Come and create, right along with your parent. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
